Very similar to salvia. But spice, k2, and herbal incense is what what I had called.

I messed myself up...
by MC RubberMallet inthe past few weeks have been hectic.. but i went through an experience that has messed me up since.. i met up with an old friend one day who i know went apostate.
it was a really bad day for me, which was really bad for me since i've been taking ttatt as a speed bump but still moving along in life with an ok adjustment.
he since brought a really nice house, cars, new job, everything he always wanted without feeling guilt.

Agreed baltar. I continuously read the same warning. The word 'legal' and 'synthetic' makes people feel like it's a safer more responsible alternative. But according to users AND the scientists examining the chemicals that make these up, it definitely isn't.

The past few weeks have been hectic.
But I went through an experience that has messed me up since.
I met up with an old friend one day who I know went apostate. It was a really bad day for me, which was really bad for me since I've been taking TTATT as a speed bump but still moving along in life with an ok adjustment. He since brought a really nice house, cars, new job, everything he always wanted without feeling guilt. We talked. I asked how he made the transition rather smoothly. He told me various things. But at the end of that conversation, he pulled out a pipe and a lighter. He asked if I wanted a puff. I declined. I've NEVER smoked or even came closed to using any type of narcotics in my life, never was I even tempted, because...
1) I've seen the damage to other people very close to me firsthand.
2) I take great pride in always being in control of myself.Anyway, he told me when he feels any type of stress from the mind-rape he experienced, he takes a hit and it usually passes. All the while he was highway driving. So I thought, he's doing well in life, and he is driving while "high" of this stuff, it must not be that bad. Then what he told me next suprised me. He said it was legal. It's a synthetic form of marajuana, chemically induced THC. AND it does not show up in drug tests, AND it makes on feels euphoric emotions like marajuana. (The drug goes by the common names herbal incense, K2, and spice.)
Damn. It was all the makings of an after school special.I took a puff. I felt nothing. He told me I had to hold it. I tried to hold it. Couldn't. Kept coughing it out immediately. I kept trying. On my 9th puff, yes, NINE, I held it. I was going somewhere. That place was nice, for a split second. Then it turned to HELL.
It is very difficult to explain to people whom have never used a mind-altering substance, or to overdose on it. If you have, you will understand what I went through. I didn't know what to expect or what was happening, how long it was going to last, or anything. But damn. I did research when I came home, and find out I experienced extreme psychosis, (which includes delusion, catatonia, hallucinations), combined with a level 4 psychadelic experience. I tried to write my experience down but it still makse no sense to me after, so I won't include it here. But, I've read people's bad trip experiences off this drug, and it was common that people stated they've never tripped like with this stuff. Common drug users said they were going back to using acid and normal weed because this was too much. The scary ass place I went was scary as hell, but it was real. I feel like life has been/is fake and that's where reality is (strong junk it was). I've been extremely depressed since. Maybe it hit an irrepairable part of my brain (studies still haven't been conclusive on the long term effects of this crap).
I will NEVER use anything ever again. I am so disappointed in myself. I can't believe I fell for it. It was the worst mental state in which to use a drug, and I'm stuck in the state it feels like.On a lighter but very serious note, The Matrix trilogy was on TV last week, and I watched the whole thing and actually understood it perfectly.

Any conspiracy theories you're convinced has some truth to it?
by MC RubberMallet ini do.. 1) new world order.
2) weapons testing.
3) surveillance, espionage, and intelligence agencies.

1) New World Order (not 100% convinced, but it seems like the higher ups want people to stop thinking and following. I see in the US, the overall basic education system sucks. Teens graduate high school and can't balance a checkbook, budget properly, spell, read, think critically, etc. They know what the Kardashians are up too and who got Snooki pregnant, but if you ask the average kid to point to Kazakhstan or Djibouti on a blank map, you would get a blank stare. That's not just a stereotype. There are some very brilliant students, but I find more followers than thinkers. Teachers and instructors just as clueless on the subject and teaching skills are horrendous. Technology is handicapping people mentally. Remember having to remember phone numbers? Or understand a map? Not needed anymore. No thinking involved. It's quite dangerous. Now they have BABY apps on Ipad. Yes, for BABIES. Technology helps, but it's hurting in important ways. I just feel it's part of a conditioning. Don't think. Just accept and follow accordingly. You need a college education just to understand basic concepts.
2) Weapons testing - I'm not fully convinced, but I would NOT be suprised if it was an exposed fact.
3) Surveillance, espionage, and intelligence agencies - I worked for security years ago in a global banking firm. The technology we had at our disposal was mind boggling (for me at least). I could only imagine the government. I read about technology NOW mainstream that government had 20+ years prior.
4) DTV has 'big brother' status - I believe information is sold to big business to be used for marketing demographics. Nothing more, nothing less.
5) Many diseases have man-made origins - Not a biologist, so according to reasearch of others' conclusions, it has been stated diseases such as HIV have a man-made DNA origin.
6) Governments spread these diseases - Population control and testing contaminated air.
7) Big Pharma concealing cures for conditions and diseases - A few natural items thought to cure certain ailments become illegal. IE apricot seeds.
8) Illuminati - I guess like a club. Nothing too crazy I don't think. But i see it becoming more prevalent and highly publicized in mainstream media.
9) Space landing - if the usa revealed they DIDN'T land first, what do they have to lose? That's why I think this can be an elaborate cover up.
10) 9/11 - Self explanatory
Note: Some of these would take an elaborate and time consuming cover up, but those involved could be under the mind control of high - powered groups today, so it's not impossible because of the tedious work that has to be done. Pshychologists can plant false memories in people's mind, etc.
Anyway, I am not overly concerned about such things, but I do wonder about a lot, which is why I guess I am cynical right now.
Though I have read up on these theories, I am NOT an expert on any of these subjects, I recognize I have more research to do.
Don't bust my chops. I'm a larvae apostate. My studying period will be my cocoon. Then I will become a beautiful moth. (I didn't feel comfortable typing that last one)

I can't believe it's 2012 and people still think we didn't land on the moon.
I should've clarified. I meant USA being the first on the moon during the space race. I do believe those specific photos were staged. Overall, though, I do believe the proof that we've been there since.

We all believed things that weren't true, and we still do. 10 years from now, we won't look back to this day and felt like we knew it all. We wont be able to do that even 5 years from now, 1 year, 1 month, or even 1 week.
We learn everyday that something we believed was false or distorted. At the time, though, it made sense to us.
I am no expert in any of the areas I've listed. There are experts that prove such theories are true, there are experts that prove such theories are false.
Whom can one believe? Experts refute each other!
In my current position, I cannot prove one way or another. I cannot go back and film the moon landing for example. I rely on historical accounts and research. When you have experts that can prove both sides, who am I to go with? I can only choose what makes sense according to my current knowledge and understanding. Tomorrow it may be different. Or the next day. Even Londo stated "The older i get, the more crazy these ideas become to me."
Not even you can deny mankind are being conditioned everyday, so people like to look behind the craziness going on and make sense of it all. Maybe the theories are wrong, maybe they hold some element of truth.
We are all able to have our ideas. In time we all realize things we believe now are foolish. Lets give each other that chance. You could be just as wrong as you think we are.

Are the Witnesses opposing God with their twisted view of "higher education"?
by matt2414 inmsnbc is reporting that "the government reported friday that the unemployment rate for college graduates fell slightly in may, to 3.9 percent from 4 percent a month earlier.
for people with just a high school degree, the unemployment rate increased to 8.1 percent, from 7.9 percent a month earlier.".
the bible says at 1 tim.

Gen 1:28 Further, God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.”
How can they fulfill this command if they do not learn about the world around them? High school isn't cutting it. Specialized study is a good thing!
Love, learning, thinking, etc means NOTHING to them. It's all worship and praise to the Golden Calf Governing Body.

Just some personal ramblings. Move on if you want to argue.
by OnTheWayOut inokay, first of all: i like the earth, the polar bears, the whales, and any other part of the planet that someone wants to help.
i appreciate any efforts that people exert.
the planet is going through global warming and pumping exhaust from automobiles and factories and other sources does contribute to the global warming.

We can argue back and forth all day, but I have yet to hear a good excuse for the all-powerful, all-wise, all-benevalent GOD standing by while tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of children die in a tsunami or an earthquake. Or the suffering that a mother and father have to go through when someone rapes and murders their child and buries the evidence that they are dead.
An idea I adopted from the Brothers Karamazov: No matter how God justifies inactions, no matter what the reward later, if every last thing is explained in a way that makes sense and sounds justified, I will still say the price is too high. I would rather not participate in such a plan.
It is better that I reject the existence of such a God than think that such inaction exists within one who could stop it.
One of the most powerful posts I've ever read...
Ramble on!
